Atheniella adonis (Redhead)

An extremely tiny mycena type fungi and not found very often

Cap:- to 1 cm diam. conical becoming bell shaped then umbonate; smoothe striate to half way to center of cap, deep pink to reddish, lighter towards margin


Gills:- adnate, fairly distant, white tinged pink


Stipe:- cylindrica;, hollow with fing longitudinal fibres, 1.5 cm long 0.5 mm wide; whitish to pale pink; no annulus.


Spore print white difficult to see with naked eye
