Tinca tinca (Tench)
Family: Cyprinidae
Status: Introduced.
Size: Maximum size is 70 cm, though most specimens are very much smaller.
Description: Stocky, carp-like shape and olive-green skin, darker above and almost golden below. Rounded fins and slightly forked tail. Single pair of barbless in the corner of the mouth.
Location: This is not likely found in the CMN area but may have been recorded in the upper Murray.
