Yoyetta sp. nr spectabilis

Yoyetta spectabilis is found in central and southern New South Wales and in the Gippsland region of Victoria. Specimens that key out to Y. spectabilis have also been found in the southern Australian Capital Territory; however, the species has not previously been found at such high altitudes or in this region. The identity of material from Australian Capital Territory requires further investigation and a song recording.
