Dichromodes usurpatrix (Oenochrominae)

The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, each with variable dark spots and light and dark wavy transverse lines or bands. The forewings also each have two dark spots on the costa, and an arc of dark chevrons around the margin. The hindwings are brown with variable dark spots, and with an arc of dark dashes around the margin. The females have thread-like antennae. The males have unipectinate antennae. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.
