Talaurinus rugifer (Ground weevil)

Curculionidae: Cyclominae: Amycterini

Weevils of tribe Amycterini are wingless and hence flightless. They are terrestrial and feed on monocots as both larvae and adults. Talaurinus rugifer is associated with Lomandra - adults chew the leaves and larvae presumably feed underground on the rootstock. Talaurinus rugifer is very similar to T. kirbii.
