Thephantes clavatus (Longhorn beetle)

Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae: Callipiopini

Smallish longhorn beetle 11-16mm long, brown with an indistinct white band across the elytra. The femora (thighs) are swollen.

It is associated with Kurrajong trees (Brachychiton poulneus), the larvae boring into the branches.
