Onthophagus sp. near pentacanthus (Five-horned Dung Beetle)

A large, black dung beetle that is one of the few native species to take on cattle dung.

This species is unnamed, despite being large and well known. It is very similar to Onthophagus pentacanthus, found in SA and western Victoria, and was for a long time confused with it.
