Amanita roseolamellata ("Woods Pink-Gilled Slender Caesar")

Cap (Pileus): Up to 100mm wide, pallid grey to mouse grey, rounded convex to flattened convex, finally plane, smooth, dry, with a striate margin. Velar (universal veil) remains are often absent; when present are as flat, thick, membranous scales, pale dull cream. Flesh is very thin at the margin.

Gills (Lamellae): Pale pink to shell pink, margin of gills usually a little paler, though occasionally a little darker. Gills are narrowly adnate to free, thin or a little thick, fairly crowded. Short gills (lamellulae) at least one to two series.

Stem (Stipe): Up to 150 x 15 mm, cylindric, equal, smooth, to relatively  narrow, white with vague pink hues. Ring (Annulus) membranous, pendulous, firm, off white to pallid pinkish, striate above, sometimes reduced or apparently absent. Base not swollen or only slightly so. Cup (Volva), large white saccate membranous and persistent.

Spores: ellipsoid to elongate

Habitat: In soils of sclerophyll forests with Eucalypt spp. Mycorrhizal
