Macrones besti (Longhorn beetle)


Named after Dudley Best, a Victorian 19th-century amateur entomologist and one of the founders of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria. He was particularly interested in longhorn beetles and wrote a 5-part series titled 'Longicorn beetles of Victoria'. He died in 1928.
