I'm a keen macro photographer (I have a dedicated macro insta account: natepht) and spider nerd, I'm super into my Mygalomorphs (Tarantulas, trapdoors, funnel webs, etc) and a moderator for spiders too. I go adventuring most weekends and more than happy for people to join along, I'm always keen to meet like minded people.

I enjoy reading research papers about spiders and I'm always gaining knowledge through that pathway. I'm trying my hand at describing Canberra's very own trapdoor (Stanwellia sp., from the family Pycnothelidae), so we'll see how that goes
