Physalacria

A Physalacria fruiting body consists of a hollow head atop a stem (sometimes quite short in relation to the size of the head). The head may be globose to somewhat conical (and in some species with folds to make it a little brain-like) and is white to yellowish. Fruiting bodies range from a millimetre or two up to 25 millimetres in height, depending on species, and occur on wood.
