Tubifera vanderheuliae

Dense Pseudoaethalia of tufts of sporothecae 3 - 4.5 mm diameter  x 2mm high, found on underside of decaying wood on ground.


Sporangia:- cylindrical, tapering to a narrow base, lid appears to break away from the walls of the peridium which is membranous, light brown and shiny.


Spores:- light beige brown , yellow brown by transmitted light
