Miridae: Deraeocorinae: Saturniomirini
Only recently described (2020) by Chan & Cassis; see Chan & Cassis 2020 . Appears to be a mimic of certain braconid wasps. There are images in ALA under the Gallery tab for genus Trilaccus, although the species is not listed there, nor in AFD.
This species may be confused with Rayieria basifer, also a mirid and also a presumed mimic of Braconidae. Trilaccus is more robust, has shorter legs and the antennae have a long basal (or subbasal) segment which is plainly broader than the apical segments. Trilaccus mimeticus also has a different pattern of black and white on the underside of the abdomen.
