Clerodendrum tomentosum (Hairy Clerodendrum)


Hairy, referring to the downy leaves. Flowers are creamy in spring/summer. After flowering it leaves a persistant calyx that turns from green to dark red and produces a dark red/purple seed case (drupe). Widespread in coastal areas up and down the coast.
