COLEOPTERA: Buprestidae: Buprestinae: Curidini
Anilara are small, broad and flattened beetles of a coppery or bronze colour. The dorsal (upper) surface carries a microsculpture that gives it a dull appearance.
They occur on the drying foliage of fallen or lopped Eucalyptus branches; they are very active in sunlight, taking short, quick flights from leaf to leaf and running along the twigs.
