Macrobathra hamaxitodes (A Gelechioid moth)

The adult moths have off-white forewings each with a black base, a postmedial black band, and a black patch on the margin. There is a vague circular spot between the latter markings. The hindwings are grey. The head and prothorax are white, but the rest of the thorax is black. The wingspan is about 1.3 cms. The species has been found in  New South Wales, and  Australian Capital Territory.
