Paropsisterna m-fuscum (Eucalyptus Leaf Beetle)


A pest of Blue Gum plantations in America. This local native is confined to chewing on waxy (glaucous) eucalypt leaves such as those of juvenille Apple Box (Eucalyptus bridgesiana) and Candlebark (E. rubida) leaves.

The tessellated elytra differ. M-fuscum is named for the black "M" mark on the pronotum
