Features shown in these photographs:

• Hairs on fruit, retrorse, dense, ±appressed, pale or white coloured .
• Erect plant .
• Main axis stem including just above the ground leaves'–litter has hairs clearly spreading to some retrorse .
• Main axis stem leaves have conspicuous stipules beside the petioles' bases, I comparatively estimate longer than 1.5 mm, but cannot see them clearly enough here to tell if truncate.

February is quite early for D. ampliatum to flower in the Canberra region. I wonder if this is instead D. reflexum?
