Phoracantha semipunctata (Common Eucalypt Longicorn)

This native Australian species, which attacks Eucalyptus, has been accidentally introduced to practically every other region in the world where these trees are grown. While not a significant pest in Australia, it is damaging overseas. Consequently there is a vast literature on its control.
