Rhytiphora sp. near simsoni (Rhytiphora 'Wyanbene')

There appear to be no specimens of this species in the Australian National Insect Collection, and it may be undescribed. It looks related to Rhytiphora simsoni (a Tasmanian endemic) and possibly R. vermicularia. I have called it Rhytiphora 'Wyanbene' for the time being, alluding to the locality where it has been found.

Rhytiphora sp. near simsoni is listed in the following regions:

Canberra & Southern Tablelands
