The colourful small Garrha atoecha, absumptella, costimacula, gypsopyga, limbata, phoenopis, platyporphyra, sincerella and a potentially more unstudied undescribed species are amongst the smallest Garrha species. Most have been recorded in the ACT, some often, although G. atoecha seems to be a coast and nearby mountains species, and G. costimacula is northern. Most have variable wing patterns (particularly so for G. phoenopis), some elements of which seem to overlap species. Many Garrha limbata and phoenopis photos can be confidently identified, but the more obscure specimens will be found in “Garrha (genus)”. The other species await discovery by local observers.
