Melobasis fasciata (Carter, 1923)

Distinguished by the broad anterior fascia which is well separated from the anteriormargin of the elytra. Allied to M. sexplagiata but large rin size and broader in shape, with less intense red colouration and more greenish reflections (Peter Lang, 2020)
