Palimmeces leucopelta (A concealer moth)

The caterpillars of this species are thought to feed on dead leaves of Gum trees ( Eucalyptus species, MYRTACEAE.The adult moth has brown forewings each with several varable irregular vague pale splodges. The hindwings are yellowish brown darkening toward the wingtips. The head is white and the thorax brown. The wingspan is about 1 cms.
